The Amazon Kindle Fire hopes to appeal to both new and established tablet owners. Evaluated against other well-known tablets, Fire is holding its own. Amazon’s including tight integration with its online ventures including books, video and app stores, which sadly means that when the Fire launches in mid-November, it’ll be US-only for now.
Amazon’s recently announced Kindle Fire, however, takes things in an interesting new direction. Amazon’s made two key decisions with the Fire that make it stand out from the somewhat bland Android pack. Both Fire and iPad give users access to an almost unlimited amount of content. Fire of course gives users access to Amazon.com’s e-books, movies, television shows and games.
Kindle Fire vs Apple’s iPad When It Comes To Price. Price is clearly where Amazon’s Fire beats Apple’s iPad by a couple of miles! Fire is priced at $199.00. The iPad is priced between $499.00 and $699.00. The Fire’s low entry price makes it be a real iPad competitor.
