Amazon Cloud

Amazon product buyers can use unlimited storage space for storing media and periodicals without having to use storage space on their mobile devices. In essence, consumers get unlimited storage space in the Cloud for content purchased from Amazon.

For example, with the new Kindle Color, it comes pre-registered with the buyer’s Amazon account and all content on the device is backed up on the Cloud. Users can delete and re-download content any time.

Anyone using the Cloud Drive gets 5GB of storage space for their Amazon purchases. Amazon offers several economical storage plans up to 1,000GB of storage that can be paid annually.

Regardless of your location, if you have an Internet connection, you can access the Cloud Drive. Consumers access to the Cloud works with any PC or MAC computer. Further, if accessing music to play or download from the Cloud Player or Drive, users will have to utilize their PC, MAC or an Android OS type device. Other mobile devices not equipped with the Android OS cannot access the Cloud at this time.

Amazon Kindle Cloud

Amazon is a company that is well known in the online world. While the site mainly sells all types of books, such as Romance Books, they also sell other kinds of merchandise as well, such as electronics, cooking utensils, clothing, etc.

If it exists, it’s probably sold on Amazon. One of them was releasing the Kindle Reader applications, which allow people to read Kindle eBooks on their computer.

Ebooks are getting hugely popular and there are now pirated releases of several books, such as Erotic Books floating around on file sharing services, so it is quite normal for Amazon to want to make it easier for people to use their Kindle bookstore without having the actual Kindle.

A cloud based app that uses HTML5 to deliver the Kindle Reader in a platform neutral manner. The application, just like all other cloud based apps, runs on Amazon’s cloud servers (which are also leased to anyone who needs a cloud server) so all the user is doing is viewing and interacting with the application, without it actually running on their own device.
