Kindle readers have been long recognized as one of the foremost e-book readers on the market. Now the new Kindle 3 readers have WiFi capability. This capability opens up a whole new world for Kindle 3 WiFi readers. The ability to browse the Internet using the new Kindle Whispernet technology allows you to access the Internet on the go. If you’ve ever needed information and had no access to your personal computer, you will appreciate this.
The Kindle connects wherever a WiFi signal is available. What if you find yourself in a place where WiFi is unavailable? Some of the new Kindles also support wireless technology. (Again, only the techno-geeks really understand how this works.) Similar to an Internet connection, it yields the same result for the average user. Again, it allows you to connect your Kindle to the Internet only this time via cell phone technology. Again browse your favorite sites or download to your heart’s content. If you can use your cell phone in your location, you can probably utilize the wireless feature on the Kindle 3.
The new WiFi technology also offers advantages for your business. Anyway, check out the new Kindle.
Barnes And Noble Nook Color
With its vibrant touchscreen LCD display, Android 2.1 operating system, and advanced web-browsing capabilities, many have written off the Barnes and Noble Nook Color as a “poor man’s iPad”. Not only is this statement unfair, it also misinterprets Barnes and Noble’s intended use for the Nook Color. A better explanation could be that the Nook Color is an excellent e-reader that performs many of a tablet PC’s functions, adequately.
Rounding out the Nook is the list of features it shares with the previous Nook, some of which give it a nice advantage over Amazon.com’s Kindle. The user can then just load the file onto their Nook Color via USB. Additionally, the Nook is designed so that there are incentives for a user to bring the Nook with then when they go to a Barnes and Noble store. Users will be able to read up to one hour of a book per day for free via in-store WiFi.
